Basically the Point of this Blog

There really is no point to this. This blog is all about randomness, and random stuff doesn't always have a point. I could say nothing, or I could make a long list of everything in the world, and if you ask me, we're all better off saying nothing. You, because you'd have to sit there and read all of it, and me, because I'd have to sit there and write all of it. Let me tell you, that would make this the most boring blog in the history of the world, and that wouldn't be right, because this blog is the one place to go when you're looking for something interesting. So let me know what you think about it.

Bedroom Crafts

Super awesome bedroom crafts and/or decor:
1. Door decoration: Drape a giant piece of paper over the door, cutting a hole for the doorknob. Use paints and permanent markers and get together with your friends to decorate the paper. Then, tape the paper to the door. If you want to, make the paper slightly larger than the door so that when you put the tape on, it is on the back of the door.
2. Paper lantern: It would probably be very hard to make this, but you've probably seen these in some stores. It's a lightbulb in the middle of a spherical wire structure surrounded by some color of tissue-like paper. An awesome decoration.
3. Fluffy lamp: You can get any color lamp and glue a fluffy boa of the same color around the base of the lampshade for an awesome upgrade to a previously boring piece of furniture.
4. Paper tracings: Ask a friend to trace you on a large piece of paper. Cut it out and tape your cutout to the wall. Add any paper props that you want, like an i-pod, hat, or scarf.
5. Cool colloges: Anywhere you go, bring a camera, even if it's just the library, or some weird place like that. Take, like, a billion pics, and tape them or push tacks into them and create a colloge on the wall.

Have fun trying these way wacky crafts! Peace out! :D

X-mas

Okay, everybody! The Christmas season is officially here! You know what that means... glitter covered stockings and fake snow all over the house!!! Yay!!! For glittery stockings, most people do a lot of different things... Some stockings are made with pre-glittery yarn, for totally random and hyped up on cookies people who dont want to do the work. Others just sprinkle lots of glitter all over the stocking, which isn't so helpful if you plan on keeping the house clean for the holidays, so most people don't do that... If you want glitter in only certain places, you can use vasoline and spread it on those spots and then douse with glitter... SUPER AWESOME! For fake snow, paper scraps work, but involve a lot of slobber if you happen to have a dog, which I do, so I do not advise doing that. You can cut out snowflakes, and tape them to the windows, which is super pretty in the morning, too. Another fake snow idea is too stretch out cotton and line the countertops and the mantle above the fireplace with it. Totally cute! Anyway, I hope everyone has a great 20 days until Christmas. Happy holidays!

Fallness

Hey, everybody! I'm back again, and it's the season of fallness! Time for pumpkin pies and little bunches of leaves that you take the time to rake even though you know your younger siblings will run through it! I am soooooo excited! I think the most random thing that I ever done during fallness was make little leaf bouquets and then paint them! So much fun to do with your bffl, but waaaaaay too messy for your mom to let you do it in the house! If you like painting, then you can take a leaf, and try to capture all the details on paper. No offense to anyone who likes to paint, but I like leaf bouquets muuuuuuuch better! And when we hit Thanksgiving, be sure to have sparkling cider as a beverage! (Beverage is such a funny word!) Hope you have a great fallness season!

Chinese Fans

I got a real chinese fan from my mom's friend, Rita, today. Did you know that they're not actually like those folded up ones? They kind of look like magnifying glasses, with a picture sewn into the middle. It's really cool, but she sent me some other stuff, too. She got me this awesome chinese doll. Not the glass-ish kind that you can't touch, but a small wooden one, made of wood, cloth, and beads. She also got me this good luck charm, with a picture of a dragon on it. You can put it on your backpack. That stuff is really cool, but I really need to learn how to speak more Chinese, because their are tons of symbols on the fan and I just don't know what they mean. Well, that's how you tell real chinese fans from fake ones, and I guess that's the sort-of-point here, so I'll end on that.

All About Random Articles of Randomness

Random Articles of Randomness is just a blog where I write anything that I think is interesting, and you can decide if it's cool or not. Feel free to make comments about anything you want, even if it doesn't have anything to do with any certain topic stated in the blog. Hey, it's random. Go ahead. You can also participate in the polls I post, if you want at all. Plus, you can go to the wacky sites I write about. Basically, if you're just looking for something interesting, this is the right place, 'cuz no one does random like Random Articles of Randomness.
